Our Mission
DFW Konkani Samaj is a not-for-profit, volunteer based organization, registered under section 501(c)(3) created with a goal of preserving our values, language, and nurturing our traditions and customs. This association will enable Konkani community of DFW / North Texas to come together and celebrate our rich culture, heritage and tradition
Samaj’s Objectives:
- Represent the Konkani community and enable betterment of families and migrants
- Preserve our values, and language
- Nurture our traditions and customs
- Provide opportunities for community to come together, network and help each other
- Establish a strong bond and connection with Konkani groups within United States, India and other parts of the world.

Shekhar is an experienced Physician with 30+ years of experience in Internal Medicine.
Shri Rajiv Kamat
Rajiv is the Chief Financial Officer at GTL USA Inc. Rajiv is based in Frisco, TX
Shri Ramesh Kini
Ramesh is a Chief Business Officer at Serendebyte Inc, Cost Accountant by profession.
Shri Sudhir Gurudatt Pai
Sudhir will be the advisor to the board and would be in charge for raising funds for the Samaj.

Conduct cultural events by ensuring participation from members of group programs like songs, etc.

Our own website which can be used as a basic platform to share details, blogs, videos, recipes, job.
Marketing
We come up with flyers, marketing materials for events, ensuring communication of events, invites, participation confirmation, etc.
Fund Raising
we will raise funds for the organization including for special events, other purposes, cultural activities, stage shows etc.
Finance
Manage cash flows, track expenses, publish the statement of accounts, reports, ensure statutory compliance.
Religious
we will conduct religious events by ensuring participation from members of individual/group programs, etc.
Infrastructure
We will plan the venue for special events and occasions, manage audio/video & all other requirements.
